Catch a Car launches its free-floating carsharing until the start of 2017 in Geneva. Members of Catch a Car can locate 100 cars in realtime, drive from A to B and park the cars on public parking spaces. In Basel, one Catch-Car replaces four private cars.

The 2-year pilot-phase in Basel proves: Free-floating carsharing is also working in swiss cities. Thousands of citizens from Basel are using the white Catch-Cars, which (according to a study by ETH Zurich), reduces the number of cars and counteracts traffic overload. Meanwhile one Catch-Car  reduces four private cars! Moreover, Catch a Car-members use public transportation more often. Silena Medici, COO of Catch a Car, is convinced: “Our offer hits the nerve of time. People want to be on the move, independent, fast, around the clock and at a low cost. Catch a Car offers all this.”
